  1. This sounds great! I have a can of garbanzo beans that’s been sitting there for weeks and has just acquired a new purpose in life, which shall be fullfilled this very afternoon 😀

  2. Word of caution… 30 minutes at 400 degrees proved to be too much for my garbanzos 🙁 Burnt to a crisp.

  3. Hi Adrian…I’m so sorry to hear that. I made them three times this week to test the recipe and 35 minutes was perfect each time. I will add your word of caution to the recipe. BTW, you should try the recipe I posted today for Crispy Baked Kale Chips…they’re amazing (keep an eye on them when baking…they can go from just right to overly crisp quickly!) And please give the garbanzo’s another shot and start checking them at 20 minutes…they really are worth trying.
    Thanks…

  4. Hey Tom! Thanks for your reply. I’ll definitely give these garbanzos another go and be more careful with the heat. And I’ll have to try those kale chips too, thanks!

  5. I bought a can just for this purpose. Now to decide which seasonings to try?? Which one is your favorite? I almost always have a sweet tooth but I have been on a spicy kick too! Would like your opinion.

  6. Hi Marla…
I personally love them sprinkled with garlic powder, kosher salt and a little cayenne. Garlic makes everything taste better and the cayenne gives it a great spicy kick.
